...it's not going super well. Your mother is a decent cook, but somehow you're running low on guests. What a stroke of luck that you happened to find your Grandmas old cookbook in the cellar. With those recipes, customers are guaranteed to flock back to Ol' Grannys Diner!
Unfortunately she was very peculiar about her ingredients, so you'll have to make your way across the island to collect the special seasonings that make her dishes so irresistable.

I'm gonna come right out of the gate and say that this jam has been cursed for me. After struggling to get Essentials workling for some reason, I also got sick right in the middle of development and missed like two whole weekends where I couldn't properly work on the game. I notice this sounds like me fishing for sympathy points, but I actually just wanna provide the context for why this game is a lot less polished than I would want it to be. But I still think it's a fun, albeit short slice-of-lifey experience.

You're not actually supposed to be able to catch them, even though I am aware that you can. I wasn't able to fix that in time. I didn't realize that this messed up the following cutscene, I'll look into that, thanks for bringing it to my attention.
When you fight Flapple and Appletun and you break their Terastallize, you are able to capture them. If you do capture them, the character walks automatically and goes into the nearby wall freezing the game. I didn't try to capture any of the others so I don't know if anyone else is bugged.
Posting a quick update that (hopefully) fixes a bug that prevents you from finishing the game.
